Atelier Oï has transformed the former Motel of La Neuveville, Switzerland, into 'a place to implement their methodology and philosophy'.
The former motel houses all of the studio's activities - material collections, workshop spaces, offices, a photo studio and an event lab. The 900-sqm building has three floors and gives Studio Oï the opportunity to showcase each phase in their production line; from working on the materials to presenting their installations.
The new headquarters for the studio was unexpected, but the firm let us know that the moment was ripe to create a tool adapted to their way of doing things - and showcasing it, off course.
